We like the complex, tropical quality of coffees from Aricha, sensations of mascerated strawberry and complex candy like sweetness.
Until recently, Aricha was out of action, but in 2018, it was revived by new owners Testi Coffee. The mill is about 8 kilometers from the center of Yirgacheffe Town, smallholders (owning less than one hectare of land) deliver cherry to the mill, and are paid premiums depending on what grades of cherry they deliver, and lots are tracked to individual growers.
